Commercial

Rappahannock Restaurant

This is a 2 1/4" character grade riftsawn white oak floor which was put through quite an extensive process to achieve this look.  It was wire brushed and hand scraped prior to installation, then hand sanded scraped and brushed onsite.  We then applied iron conditioner (or iron oxide) over the wood then applied precolor monocoat and topped it off with two coats of Rubio Monocoat hardwax oil.

Tobacco Co. Restaurant

This flooring was milled by Taylor Moore Jr. in 1981 and is among the showcase floors that has stood the test of time.  Having recently gone through 16 month restoration, the owner simply refinished the floors and changed the color and finish.  It is a prime example of how real wood floors are incredibly durable.  This is a reclaimed rift and quartered red oak flooring filled with ebony filler and finished with Titan finish from Professional coatings.

The Republic Restaurant

This was among the many restaurants that we have done over the years.  The flooring throughout the space is reclaimed maple flooring from old factories.  The installation of original material is a painstaking process and requires a lot of work for it to perform in a commercial environment.

You will also notice a medallion that we made for the space.  It is at the entry of the front door and represents the lone star texas logo.
